documentation solutions using various help packages, Internet
applications, word-processing and desktop publishing

Obtain, validate, and verify information from various
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and ensure the accuracy of content and
clarity of form

Coordinate with development team on product releases and
produce necessary documentation

Coordinate the production, distribution and management of
documentation, which will involve the placement of documentation in a
centrally accessible repository

Liaise with external resources clients and suppliers to
assist in the preparation and validation of content

Establish a standardized editing and approval process,
with stakeholders, to ensure proper version/source control

Participate in reviews of authored content, and respond
in a timely manner with corrections to meet project deadlines

Create graphical representations and prepare
illustrations where needed to supplement and support the documentation
being developed

Implement a devised a methodology for optimizing the
documentation process involving multiple documents and delivery
schedules in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment

Adhere to client’s internal documentation and publishing
standards, often, through the use of pre-established documentation
templates or the development of custom templates

Collaborate, coordinate and synchronize the activities
of the Technical Writing and Documentation initiative with those of
ongoing Business Process Engineering Technical Writing and Documentation Initaive(s).

Identify and organize and where necessary assist with the
creation of the organization’s intellectual assets into a searchable
knowledgebase

Conduct effectiveness
pre-launch audits, reviews and simulations of business cases to ensure
that documentation developed is effective, easy to learn and use and is
installed in a manner that best accommodated client needs

Perform post implementation audits/simulations to
assess documentation accuracy, effectiveness and identified any gaps,
then implement necessary documentation adjustments where needed

Establish and maintained a database of common issues that
impede the documentation initiative and/or compromised the integrity of
documentation

Implement a self editing and control process prior to
submission for review by client

Facilitate client approval and sign-off process (across
the enterprise)

Participate as a project team member in the software
development cycle from initiation to implementation of project
