Below are typical Business Process Engineering activities we will undertake to perform through the Business Process Engineering Services we offer:

Please note:

  1. Our Business Process Engineering activities are not limited to the list below
  2. The type and scope of activities performed for a particular client are dependent on the service to be provided and the scope agreed to with the client
  3. Not all the activities listed below are performed for all clients with every Business Process Engineering Service offered
  4. The list is not in any particular order

  • Determine scope and prepare detailed requirements document(s)

  • Initiate project, conduct feasibility studies, prepare business cases, review and analyze documentation, data and processes

  • Provide estimates of work effort and duration, for client decision making purposes

  • Facilitate the review and analyze business processes in order to develop process improvements.  This is typically accomplished by:

    • Defining suitable future state business model solutions to support processes

    • Identifying improvements to optimize processes

    • Identifying components suitable for process automation

    • Identifying risks and risk control mechanisms

    • Developing documentation (use case, business models/process models)

    • Defining computer system requirements and other means of automation

  • Take a hands-on teamwork approach to problems, planning, and people that are associated with all aspects of the process engineering initiative

  • Conduct relevant interviews and workshops, then prepare documentation identifying the gaps, constraints and risks associated with process steps

  • Establish, maintain, and analyze metrics associated with quality/customer satisfaction/productivity/cost efficiencies/employee satisfaction then implement identified and suitable continuous improvement mechanisms/process re-engineering to achieve superior delivery

  • Act as an expert advisor for senior management and provide suitable strategies to help direct the continuous process improvement/quality management initiative while taking into account the diversity of the mandate(s)

  • Conducted ongoing critical evaluations with the objective of identifying improvements

  • Prepare process documentation including Standard Operating Procedures flowcharts and narrative descriptions of the business processes, work instructions, policies, design of forms and reference material

  • Collaborate, coordinate and synchronize the activities of the Business Process Engineering initiative with those of ongoing technical writing and documentation initaive(s)

  • Implement benchmarking practices as means of gauging continuous improvement

  • Facilitated all meetings with process owners:

    • Work with people at all levels in the organization from senior business unit leaders and corporate management through to channel levels

    • Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff

    • Optimized interventions and operations while offering quality support

    • Acted as an agent of innovative, positive change, focusing on rapid action and deployment, while emphasizing collaborative problem solving and hands-on involvement at all levels

  • Adapt the style or approach most suitable and conducive to match the learning style of the individual group

  • Promote project success

  • Guide the team to alternatives when problems are encountered

  • Conduct effectiveness audits and reviews to ensure that all assigned new/changed systems installed are effective, easy to learn and use and installed in a manner that best accommodates the client

  • Conducted scheduled status reviews identifying any deviations to work plan and recommend corrective action, identify and rectify potential issues/constraints that may impact project success

  • Monitor changes in process engineering strategy including the monitoring of client industry, technology and competitive development and assesses impact to the client organization

  • Maintain currency in professional and specialized knowledge sufficient to provide value-added consulting to clients on an ongoing basis

  • Identify and work towards removing barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process/productivity improvement and administrative efficiency that will lead to cost reduction and competitive advantage

  • Plan and effectively execute internal quality audit plans:

    • Develop internal quality audit policies and procedure

    • Train, coach and mentor personnel into becoming internal quality auditors capable to independently prepare, conduct and document internal quality audits

    • Prepare site to make conducive for quality audits by external auditors

    • Perform post audit reviews and developed necessary corrective and preventive actions to meet compliance requirements of audits

  • Coordinate and monitor the improvement initiative(s), tactical plans and projects in support of the strategic plan and objectives

  • Spearhead ISO registration initiative from the ground up leading to ISO certification
