1. Can you please explain the Corporate Plumbing System® methodology?

A business operating (and management) methodology that breeds continual improvement within service organizations.  The coined methodology is predicated on four principles that serve as the basis for reasoning or action every business is premised on.      

 

 

2. What are the four fundamental principles?

The four fundamentals are:

1. The 3 C’s principle

2. The 3 Questions a Quality Management System is designed to answer

3. The 5 Indicators that provide an assessment of service quality

4. The 3 Reasons why service quality is not achieved      

 

 

3. What will this methodology do for my organization?

By applying the methodology, an organization will be able to Transform its Corporate Philosophy to Service Quality and achieve organizational excellence.   

 

 

4. How does this methodology work?

From the outset the focus is on the corporate mission of the organization.  Once properly defined, the corporate mission is articulated and communicated through a set of interlinked and cascading elements that form a backdrop that depicts the organization’s corporate philosophy.

 

With the corporate philosophy as the backdrop, resources are deployed through predetermined series of actions and decisions executed through methodologies specifically chosen to provide service quality that meets customer requirements, and is a direct manifestation of the organization's mission.      

 

 

5. Who is this methodology intended for?

This methodology is intended for service type organizations (in any market sector) that is serious about Transforming Corporate Philosophy to Service Quality to achieve organizational excellence.     

 

 

6. How long does it take to see tangible results?

The time required to transform corporate philosophy to service quality and achieve tangible results is dependent on many factors specific to the organization. Key criteria include:

- Number of locations

- Industry type

- Number of employees within the organization

- The number of years the organization has been in operation

- Current opportunities/challenges facing the organization     

 

 

7. At what levels of the organization is this methodology implemented?

This methodology is intended for application, enterprise-wide, at all levels within the organization.  Everyone in the organization will be involved with the implementation of the methodology in some capacity.      

 

 

8. Who, within an organization, is responsible for the introduction and implementation of this methodology?

Typically, business owners and/or senior executive members of the organization’s management team are those responsible for the introduction, design, development, and implementation of this methodology.      

 

 

9. When is it a suitable time to introduce this methodology to an organization?

Any time! While this methodology can be instrumental when planning and starting a new business, it can also be successfully introduced and deployed to any existing business, at any time.      

 

 

10. What are the prerequisites for implementing this methodology?

There are only two pre-requisites required for implementing this methodology:

1. To be a service-based/production organization

2. To be committed to service quality

The following topics are covered in multiple sessions as shown below:

It is imperative for these topics, which appear in multiple sessions, to be completed in the context of the current session you are working on.

Although the topic elements such as Details, Specifications, Do-It-Yourself, pertaining to these topics are identical in every session they appear in, the Checklist for each session is different.  Always remember the purpose for which you are addressing a particular topic (although you may have addressed it in another session), and tackle the topic accordingly.

12. How do I obtain Adobe® Acrobat® Reader®?

13. Will it be possible to load the Corporate Plumbing System® On-Line on a corporate server for all employees to access?

Yes, provided your organization is licensed to do so.  Ensure to copy the entire contents of the Corporate Plumbing System® folder CPS010107 to a directory on the server designated for this purpose, then, ensure to direct users through the proper path to the directory on the server where the Corporate Plumbing System® is residing.

 

 

14. What Is the best way to Navigate through the On-Line system?

The best way to navigate through the On-Line system is by means of a table of contents embedded within the Bookmarks Tab of your Adobe® Acrobat® Program/Reader.  The table of contents is accessible from every document viewed.  Each title listed in the table of contents is a link to that document.  Using the table of contents through the bookmarks is a great way for navigating through the training program.

 

 

15. Will I be able to print pages from the Corporate Plumbing System® On-Line?

Yes, provided you are in compliance with the  End User License Agreement.

 

 

16. Can I search the PDF documents included within the Corporate Plumbing System® On-Line ?

Yes indeed.  In fact, all the documents within the Training Program have been indexed as one folder.  This limits the searches to the files within the Training Program and makes the search time shorter.  Prior to searching through the On-Line system, ensure to link your Adobe® Acrobat® Program/Reader to the index file CPSMPBPDX located within the On-Line system folder CPS010107.
